Dear Sponsor,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a pleasure to invite you to the 20th International Symposium on Plant Lipids, to be held in Seville. Organizing an international symposium without the support of scientific societies requires considerable funds. Without financial support from the industry, this symposium would not be possible. To ensure this program, which provides the latest information and insights from the world’s leading experts, it is vital to maintain an affordable registration level for all participants allowing the assistance of most of the plant lipid research community. Your generous support will provide financial assistance to help promising postgraduate students attend ISPL2012.

A sponsorship or an advertisement in the framework of the 20th ISPL congress is a perfect investment to enhance your visibility on the World Market and beyond... The series of ISPL congresses is regularly attended by 250-300 delegates from over 50 countries. All sponsors will be recommended in the registration program booklet, the book of Abstracts, on the congress webpage and on special event signage.

Become an ISPL2012 sponsor, contact with the Scientific Secretariat and you will receive a dossier including a list of sponsorship/marketing options in different price levels that have been popular among companies in the past. An early decision is encouraged to prolong your visibility on the webpage.

Seville is the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain, irrigated by the river Guadalquivir. It is the capital of Andalusia and of the province of Seville. The inhabitants of the city are known as Sevillanos. Population of the metropolitan area (urban area plus satellite towns) ranking as the fourth-largest metropolitan area of Spain.

How to get to Seville

You will find all information on how to arrive to Spain in English at the web site of Aena (www.aena.es), the public body that owns and operates the majority of Spanish airports. It is possible to fly directly to Seville or one of the nearby cities such as Córdoba, Granada-Jaén, Jerez and Malaga from certain departure cities. However, it is most likely that you will arrive either to Madrid or to Barcelona.

Seville airport is well connected with Madrid (flight time, 45 min) and Barcelona (55 min) airports. In addition there is a daily direct fligth to London, Paris, Frankfurt and other Europeans cities. Alternatively, you can fly to Málaga International airport. Being an important holiday resort, there is an ample offer of international connections and charter flights during the summer season. The distance from Málaga to Seville is 200 km and takes some two hours by car and somewhat longer by bus (timetable and the fare between Malaga and Seville at www.movelia.es) or train (the quickest and most convenient way to get from Malaga to Seville; you can book your train ticket at www.renfe.es).

In addition, Seville is connected to Madrid by a high speed train (2.5 hours) which commutes every hour. Consult your travel agency if you plan to use this train, called AVE, because booking in advance is recomended (www.renfe.es).
